Phitsanulok is in the north of Thailand, approximately 377 kilometres north of Bangkok by road with a population of 66,000 people. Phitsanulok borders on the north and the north-east of Thailand. The north is adjacent to Uttaradit and Laos. The south is adjacent to Phichit. The east is adjacent to Loei and Phetchabun.
